had the same thing with fs, and reinstalling just the mod didnt help but full bf2142 and the mod did (with the deleting of the cache both times)

Thank you SamZi - that did the trick... I have both BF2142 & FS AA turned off in-game, but force it with the nVidia control panel to 4X for both games and now everything looks great.

I'm so frustrated, I'm getting this exact problem and I did the disable AA in game/override in control panel thing but the AA isn't showing in game!  Still looks as if I have no AA enabled at all.  I've checked and the settings are saving, I also restarted but still no joy.

You may not have identified the correct .exe for BF2142 or FirstStrike... don't tie the settings to the shortcut - but the "target" file for the shortcut (quickest way to find it).

Well I didn't set it in the first place, it was automatically in the list of available programs, but I tried re-setting it.  Didn't make a difference sad thanks anyways.

So are you sure you have firststrike.exe added in the program settings tab with override and the amount of AA? The .exe can be found in the Battlefield 2142 folder.
