Topic: Space maps week

RSF server will be running spacemaps all week!

This is to celebrate our 10th anniversary (on Friday 20th March) which I find hilarious because, as some of you may be aware, a few of  our players are only slightly older than the clan itself tongue

Anyway, I'd appreciate input on how to keep this fun- particularly from Luke who ran Rebel Hell spacemaps back in release 1 when there was only 2 spacemaps available smile

Also- can someone check that its working? I an STILL without a gaming pc so I can't play FS to check myself sad

Has the RSF server been updated then??

Well your server is 16p maps anyway right? I'd say 1 round per map with team mixing between each round. Keeps it interesting not knowing whos gonna be on your team next.

I have to update it manually, as its a gameserver server.
This complicates things as the updater won't run, so i have to make a server on my comp, run updtae, get files, copy them across.
And then i can't test if its working or not without help atm.

You're welcome. Seriously that server is good for infantry maps but not space. 16 just isn't quite enough for a good game IMO.

16 is plenty good for space. Twigs of course remembers 1v1, 2v2 T/I and knows that 3 players versus 3 other players is an INCREDIBLE amount of pvp combat in space. smile

Regardless, i'm having problems getting the server to work. Its all updated, I have it working with 2142cc but people get mod. content when they try join.
