Topic: Need help with FS launcher.

Hello,

I am new here and i have installed the last Firststrike mods on my battlefield 1.5.

It is not launching and tells me to se the firststrikelauncher.exe log wich says :

I am on windows Xp 32bit. Somone could help help me with this trouble.

I also have an error with the Launcher Updater wich says :

Download: C:\Program Files\First Strike\update.exe
400: Error downloading C:\Program Files\First Strike\update.exe.

Thanks for reporting this.  There have been a few cases similar to this, but because we have yet to see a patern in those that get it, to my knowledge, we haven't managed to locate the problem.

I'll get our lead Coder to pop by this thread when I speak to him later today, see what he has to say. In the meantime, however, I suggest reinstalling the launcher seperately. You can download the launcher installer HERE.  The chances are the same error will still happen, but it is worth a shot.

DUKE815: Teamwork's complicated.  I've found that ramming a Lambda with a Y-wing at full boost is most effective.

You're getting a HTTP 400 error (Bad request).  Can you access the website http://www.woodat.com ?

When I run update.exe, I get
Download: C:\Program Files\First Strike\update.exe
400: Error downloading C:\Program Files\First Strike\update.exe.

And I can access www.woodat.com just fine. Is woodat where the builds are downloaded from?

Oh and here's what the update.exe.log looks like:

Yes, at the moment.  I've got two other mirrors setup where the builds are located, but they haven't been integreated into the launcher yet sad
