Topic: Installer Integrity Check Faliure Error

Sorry in advance if there is already a topic about this, but I couldn't find it.

Whenever I try to install the client, I just keep getting that error, no matter where I download it from.  I tried just the 1.4 client download with 3 different downloads from 3 different places, and even the 1.3 client... None of it works.

Anyone have any idea how to fix the download problem?

EDIT:

I think it could be an issue with an interrupted download...anyone know where I could find a torrent of the client?

unfortunately there isn't at this time.  There was, however, talk of getting a torrent up and running, keep your eyes peeled, this has given us a new reason to get a torrent going:D

I hope so!  I just tried 2 more sites, and it did not work again. sad

I have no idea why it would not be downloading the file completley, since just today I also downloaded the 1.5 patch for 2142 and it worked fine...

It could be hardware/software related.  What is your operating system, and do you have any download accelerators or anything of that sort?

EDIT: CLICKY for torrent. Its only me seeding at the mo, working on getting a few others... my upload speed isn't great, but hopefully with more people seeding that won't matter.

EDIT 2: I've now got a couple of high speed servers downloading the file, once they have finished everybody else should notice a massive decrease in their download time, due to the ability for the servers to seed the file at an extremely high speed.

EDIT 3: Thats the higher speed server got it going, torrent should seed relatively fast now.
