ATM the ewoks are just gun turrets. Could they be easily made into player controlled, movable turrets?

Making a wookiee vehicle isn't so simple as making a wookiee and giving it a player animation.

It would have to be a walker vehicle, thus limited to run, walk, and crouch, most likely would have only 1 visible weapon... And couldn't jump.

The wookie would then have to choose between:
A) Walking/floating on water like our speeders do
B) Being invincible to water allowing them to walk around anywhere
C)Not being able to enter water at all

Then as a vehicle, players would have to spawn into them, so we would have wookiees standing around at main bases?

Among other limiting factors, this would never really work out.

As for Ewoks, that would be more like an easter egg type thing... people possessing Ewoks is just odd.

What, enter a tree stump and turn in to an ewok? Wouldnt that be kind of gimmicky rather than useful? Hit points would be low and weapons limited to a spear or a catapult. Plus as a vehicle it would take some time for animations etc to get the legs working right.

Yeah you're right, the idea of ewoks at all isn't very useful. And it is gimmicky.
Which is why it will be fun if implimented smile

I hadn't thought of using the trees as is- I was thinking for a theoretical ewok V ? map that we would spawn in ewok vehicles (ala starfighters) rather than spawn as infantry.

And the ewok class would be a good place to put a reskinned zipline(if vehicles can be made to use those)

I must admit, I've always loved the thought of being able to use an Ewok glider and drop rocks on a walker big_smile

Except that the rocks did nothing at all...

Re: Aliens (and Trandosha)

Hm, the Ewok Glider as vehicle ?
Sounds so silly what it must be done !!!1111 big_smile would be funny, even if it does nothing.

About the ewoks:
Is it possible to spawn them randomly at specific places around the bunker entrance after the stronghold is lost ?
If the Ewoks are destroyable a dream for every imperial soldier would come true...
