Topic: Widescreen in First Strike

Hi, can someone help with withe the Widescreen support in First strike i have put the +widescreen 1 in my bf 2142 shortcut so i have in my bf 2142 resolution 1920x1200 works great but seems it does not work in First Strike as my game crash each time i start my First Strike ,but my Bf 2142 still works great

So could anybody tell me what to put to make First Strike works in 1920x1200

a Big thanks for the Answer as my good friend Google did not give me any clue on how to make it works!

in the launcher file menu press preferences, then in the arguments box put:
+widescreen 1

That's it smile

Yes works now , my problem was that i did not find the option in the launcher so i was getting mad looking for it but finaly this mornign i have find it so a big thanks , and i must say ,,,,its a prety cool and fun MOD a big thanks to everyone involved in this Cheers!

Got anotehr question do , i remember playing First Strike last year and they where many servers playing it , now i just find like 10 servers and many of them are emply like rignt now its Noon EST and no one is plyaing on servers is it me that canot find any servers or ther is a problem with teh broswer...

No, thats all we have right now. Many people tried it and either didnt like it, or experienced bugs. Rather than ask here how to correct them they quit playing. Servers will only populate if people...play the mod! So, try sitting on a server and see if anyone else joins in.

Oh..one last thing, only a few servers are properly updated, these include Wolfgaming, BI, DS, RSF, RT and a French server, but cant remember its name.

Ok thanks for the Answer.... I am afraid i got another question again! Its about a Visual bug in First Strike , For me the game is without any problem , but my buddy has some Graphic Corruption .. He has Window XP , 4 megs of ram , Intel Core Duo, Nvidea 8800gt... When he play First Strike he see White bar in screen plus most of the screen is corrupted and if he zoom the screen is very messy , this happen on most of the maps but sometime he get lucky and the game looks fine...

What we tried is we reinstalled First Strike but did not work and we did update his video driver for the latest as for 6 of May ... He can play BF 2142 widout any problem its just in First Strike that this happen.....

Please find a cure for him as there is so few players that i don't want to play it alone smile

i repeat myself but i really dig that mod , even if new Star Trek Movie is good ... well not bad wink me wana play First Strike long time wink
