Topic: Dwarf Spider Droid

I was thinking that we could have some Dwarf Spider Droids in First Strike. Don't say that they're in the prequel trilogy so we can't have them, I have proof that we could have 'em. If any of you have read The New Essential Guide to Droids, it says that the remaining Dwarf Spider Droids (I'll call them DSD from now on) became the property of the imperials. They were sent against some of the early rebellions and they are often seen with stormtroopers at customs checkpoints. Please post anything about this suggestion.

It also says the they can adjust their height, using something on their legs.

I concur.
It'd not really add any starwarsyness- just weirdness .
The probedroid is the awesome. This isn't.

I'm actually in favour of sticking the probe droid on mos espa- it could launch from the lambda.
The it could go scout ahead and find rebels... instead of being a defensive thing like it is now.

You do see the DSDs in episode 2 and 3. They're pretty good. On Kashyyk you see one come out of the water and kill a lot of clone troopers.
