Topic: Joystick Boost for Speeder Bike (again?)

I don't quite remember if I asked someone in-game, or made a forum post about this, but anyway...

I need to figure out how to bind the boost function of the speeder bike to my joystick, since there's no afterburner for aircraft, but the bike uses aircraft controls.

I've already tried binding the joystick control to the infantry sprint/vehicle boost, with no luck. I seem to remember having to do something complicated outside of the game to get this to work. Any help would be appreciated.

Just use a secondary control set for airvehicles that uses the keyboard?

I bind one of my joysticks buttons to the shift key, so when I hold my joystick button, it acts like my shift key. Shift is the default 'accelerate' button in 2142 for vehicles.

I can never get pitch/roll/yaw plus acceleration/deceleration, boost and fire all set up on a keyboard to where I won't be fumbling all over the place. sad
