and ... you wont see servers at 1st , dont freak out , clik the middle tab for "first strike servers" amd you will get a list.

Hello,

I'm a french user.
I use windows XP service pack 3.

When i launch the mod by the First Strike icon, i come back immediately on desktop windows.
If i use the function community/custom game in BF 2142, it's the same.

Is the language of BF 2142 version is important ?

It sounds like a bad install of 1.3 to me.  Try downloading 1.3 Full, which comes with a special launcher. You can get that Here

DUKE815: Teamwork's complicated.  I've found that ramming a Lambda with a Y-wing at full boost is most effective.

Usually languages don't cause too much trouble with the actual mod, because the modders don't usually change much.

Why can I not see the kit or spawn point selection screen? The maps load fine, and the background is visible, however the kit and spawn selection screen is not. I know it's there because I hear the beep as it passes over the kit selections by randomly moving my mouse. Please advise, really want to play this game. Install version 1.4 FUll, updated PB, run as admin is checked and selected each time I have tried to play.

Hmm, well try to delete your cache in my documents/battlefield2142/mods/firststrike. If that doesn't work try hitting caps lock then spam the enter button? I'm not sure but i am sure someone will come help soon.
