nope, even tried the szx fix but all i got was a messed up HUD. hmm

Ever get picked off right when you take-off?

Load up the game, ALT Tab out then go back into it using the start bar.

Update to current version or either right click on exe file change compatibility to win xp sp3 and run as administrator. Many patches are not vista compatible so that's gonna solve your problem.

Perhaps you could try disabling UAC as well as running it in compatability mode.
