I sincerely hope this is a new star wars space sim, the fans have been launching petitions, forums posts etc ever since XWA was completed. Jedi Star fighter does not count, it is utter crap. Not a space sim at all, merely some arcade childs game.

Yes, if this turns out to be a new Star Wars space sim in the vein of the X-Wing/TIE-Fighter series I see many happy fans, including RSF, TRA, TFA and many many other clans that I know of.... It would be the game that takes me away from First Strike!

If it isnt XWA 2 then I'll continue to sulk. On the other hand, it could just be announcing a game for PC only, since sometime ago LA privately admitted that it was no longer considering the PC as a viable games platform. To that end, all future releases would be aimed at consoles first with no probable release in mind for pc.

Or, maybe it will be a rehash of say Monkey Island for consoles, or their back catalogue being released for Xbox live or something. If LA really are going to screw the PC players then they will forever become a hated company!
