I don't know whats wrong, but this is what I can suggest:
If you have Anti Aliasing on, turn it off (just to test)
Mess around with Shadows and Lighting Settings
Possibly reinstall, but that may not have much effect.



I actually like that colour for a map; we need a map like that, as well as one which is blue and green.

DUKE815: Teamwork's complicated.  I've found that ramming a Lambda with a Y-wing at full boost is most effective.

I've seen other threads that have had problems with vista. I have vista, maybe thats the problem?

FS should run fine with Vista, with minor hiccups in one map (Yavin) if you have an Nvidia video card.

Could you post a screenshot of your 2142 Video settings? It could help us to rule incorrect settings out.

Also, can you give us your system information, like your video card etc.?
If you're not sure what you are using just type "dxdiag" in the quick search/ "run" box and press enter.

delete the optimized shader cache located in the 'Battlefield 2142\mods\FirstStrike\cache' folder which is in 'My Documents'

The game will create new one
