OH terribly sorry for using screenshots of  the mod I helped create... I will refrain from such things in the future, TIEpilot. And my comments are not bound by your guidelines gwynzer I will add in what I like and I don't think pursuing yahtzee for a review is a good idea.

How about instead of turning the thread into personal nitpicking showcase you stay on topic yourself, Gwynzer/TIEpilot.

OH NO! It's...

Re: Public Relations/Advertising GROUP

I suggest this stops right now, TY2D2, your unneeded arguing and lack of ability to support a good idea is risking the chance of this ever going ahead.  Not that I'm saying Tie is not involved in this either.

I will not respond to any more of your remarks or comments, and I hope no one else shall either.

Now, I ask again: when can we get this started?

I suggest everyone stops taking minor critical remarks by some members of the community and uses them as an excuse to launch a personal flame war.

Re: Public Relations/Advertising GROUP

I agree with TY that doing a Yahtzee-ish review of FS, especially if done by the community itself, feels a bit cheap.

Also, what Twigs said. Stay on topic or you get the banhammer

Re: Public Relations/Advertising GROUP

I will be able to help out with this. I'm ready to start whenever. Just contact me on Xfire (duncanismasterjedi), or Black Intel ventrillo.

Re: Public Relations/Advertising GROUP

Well your first mission should you choose to except it, is to spread the latest news update far and wide to as many boards as you can. Judging from the warm reception it got at ModDB I thnk this update could really get the punters in. So coordinate through this thread which boards you want to hit with this and then go over there and submit the article as a news item.

The sort of boards we want to be looking at are certainly BF related boards, also general gaming and modding boards, and perhaps some Star Wars or general sci-fi related ones.

Go forth now and spread the good word.

cool

Another thing worth considering is a method by which we should approach the offical Battlefield website and get First Strike promoted on there. We might come up with ideas here, and then make the approach through official channels.
