Re: Jundland Wastes trailer

OMG Flippy your still alive? Dude!

Anyway, awesome trailer. It's good to be back here at First Strike. This looks promising.

Nice map, but it needs JETPACKS!  Too much running around on the ground in wide open spaces.

Never mind Duke, lonewolfs will find that this map holds a few surprises yet. Jetpax won't cut it and so I suggest you brush up on some teamwork skills and utilising the maps assets as a group rather than as an individual. wink

That said, I did actually suggest hiding the jetpack kit somewhere special but I don't think Krenyo went for the idea. Mind you, it was going to be in a GREAT location. big_smile

Re: Jundland Wastes trailer

You can have plenty of teamwork with jetpacks.  In the preview of the new season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, multiple soldiers are seen using jetpacks as part of teamwork.

Watch the preview at time: 47 seconds.  tongue

The differences are that our Jetpacks are squeezey pooh, and we don't have any clones(who were trained to specialise in certain combat areas from early childhood), bar one or possibly two maps which feature Vaders Fist.

DUKE815: Teamwork's complicated.  I've found that ramming a Lambda with a Y-wing at full boost is most effective.

Just apply the flight characteristics of a vanilla 2142 Talon aircraft to the jetpacks and they will fly just fine.

We could have soldiers that use jetpacks, it's just a matter of will.  Just like we have tanks and personal shields that never appeared in the GCW era movies.

Yes, it is also official Star Wars canon because it is made by LucasFilm.

Re: Jundland Wastes trailer

Duke..First Strike is set in the Original Trilogy, not clone wars. For that reason, cannon or not, it will not feature as a general asset.
