Topic: Crash when clicking "deploy"

Hello there. I am trying to run a singleplayer game (Multiplayer>Local>Conquest), but every time I try to click "deploy," I CTD, sometimes even during "loading client data."   I am running First Strike with the latest 1013 mod patch and so. I am also running on Vista 64-bit, Nvidia 9800 GT, 6GB of RAM, and I think the very latest version of Battlefield 2142 Deluxe Edition, whichever that is. If it helps, I also do not see a list of servers when I check under the multiplayer list. Help me FirstStrike forums, you're my only hope.

Are you crashing on Single Player?

It turns out repatching the original game fixed it big_smile. However, the Battle of Yavin map does not work in Single or Multi player.

There is an issue with Yavin and NVIDIAs Vista Drivers.  There are a number of partial fixes available to solve the problem available HERE.

As for not seeing any servers, set up your filters:

DUKE815: Teamwork's complicated.  I've found that ramming a Lambda with a Y-wing at full boost is most effective.
