Topic: BF2 Server Patch - Requesting Suggestions

I'm going throughout different communities collecting idea's that will possibly be going into the next BF2 server patch.  Any idea's are worth listning to.  All idea's/suggestions/bug fixes will be collected and posted in the EA UK forums.  I have already talked to the BF2 Community Manager and if enough people contribute it looks promising.


If your not sure what we're looking for here are some examples:
- A way to stop TK Punishes from kicking certain people(clan members)
- A way to manually create polls from the Free Dedicated Server(FDS) Software with different poll reasons.  Ex.  Do you think $player should become a temporary moderator.
- Add support for a DDE log interpretter.  This would submit all chat logs to a txt file(with DDE notification)

I'm just a guy who plans on staying with BF2 as long as possible.  EA will drop support soon and I figure one more server patch would be really nice.  I have already contact some other members of the BF2 community on this such as the maker of BF2CC and the makers of other Server Managers.

I have also talked with the EA Games Community Manager about this.  EA games will make the patch if I can bring out the requests to their attention.

Well one thing I'd like is the ability to say no for being revived. Because if there are a lot of enemies nearby you KNOW you're going to die as soon as you get revived. So if you press a key or something you should be able to say no to being revived.

Yeah thats really annoying when you get killed and then think like, ok im gonna be a sniper now to pick of those guys that are ambushing us or something so i go to change kit and im revived. NOOOOOOO! It gets annoying. I think a button to press to not be revived would be excellent.

jeh a "kill switch" so u cant be revived would be a cool thing, definatly a good call
