Topic: Download is Incomplete

Hi, I just registered on the forums. So lets get down to business, I have downloaded the v1.0 and the v1.1 seperately, just to clarify that, and then I tried to download v2.0 and I got the "File Transfer Incomplete: Missing or Damaged files/Media". Any site that I try, I get the same effect. Is there a way to get everything for 2142 for compatibility with the EA v1.50 patch?

V1.0, 1.1 and 2.0???

The latest version is 1.4, there is a link to download it HERE.  If you have any download accelerators, turn them off.  This version is fully compatable with 2142 1.5.

DUKE815: Teamwork's complicated.  I've found that ramming a Lambda with a Y-wing at full boost is most effective.

Well, for some reason, not even the 1.4 wants to install. I think the other versions need to be installed for 1.4 to be.

No, 1.4 was a complete reworked version and does not need the previous versions of First Strike to be installed. Uninstall all versions of FS from your computer and make sure 2142 is patched to v1.5. Download 1.4 from the links page http://www.fsmod.com/downloads.fs and install it. Then run the program, it will do the rest. There are a number of download links on there, if one doesnt work try a different one in case of corrupt file. Oh and if running vista/7 make sure you have admin rights to install programs.

Thank you, but now I have another problem, its been lingering during download. Its still gives me the "Missing or Damaged Files/Media" error.

Which link are you trying or are they all hanging during the download? Perhaps your bandwidth is being throttled or you have a download limit which you have reached already.

That might bave been the problem, but I got it downloaded. Its like what you said, but its the opposite. The other servers I tried from either clocked out or couldnt handle it, then I tried Gamershell, got it all downloaded big_smile, hope to start playing it
