First Strike is not installed on your system.
Please download the latest version os FistSrike from www.fsmod.com prior to useing this program.

It is installed on my system.
I have the latest version 1.4

did you download First Strike Launcher [29.9MB]? if yes dl the full one

That error usually occurs when the launcher can't find the firststrike folder. Make sure you have the firststrike folder in the mods folder in your BF2142 directory

I did dl the 1.somit Gig one and the firststrike folder is in my mods folder for BF2142

Can it not find the game on an portable Hard drive?

It doesn't matter I just had to re-instal my BF2142

This same thing is happening to me. I installed First Strike and placed the launcher in the mods folder First Strike is in, but it says the mod is not installed.
