I'm sad to see Imperial go, he'll be missed. He did some stellar work. Also, what happened with Shattered Planet?

Imperial will still be around, just not in a leadership capacity due to current time constraints in his life, hopefully things will settle down for him later in the year and he'll once again feel free enough to contribute work to First Strike.

With Shattered Planet I guess it was a lack on in game admin support, I'm not sure of the exact details on this one.

There are quite a number of reasons as to why SP have dropped support, but none of them are worth mentioning because brining them up could cause more arguments.  Personally, I'd love an argument about it, but I don't think everyone else want to see it tongue


Also, regarding the tester applications.  Although it says send the message to Twigs, please send it to me instead.  The form was put up before the team-reorganisation, and I don't currently have the password to the FTP I hosted the form on to change it :<.

DUKE815: Teamwork's complicated.  I've found that ramming a Lambda with a Y-wing at full boost is most effective.

Regarding the subject of the Punkbuster lag issue:

It looks like Evenbalance has finally come through with a fix for the Punkbuster issue that has been causing people lag on BF2142, and in turn our mod First Strike. It should automatically update, but if it doesn't you can head over to their website to download the pbsetup.exe which you can find here:

Which will allow you to manually update Punkbuster, which I tend to do, to be on the safe side sometimes. Hope this resolves any lag issues you may have been having with First Strike, and we look forward to seeing you in game soon.
