Topic: Favorite Mods - First Strike.

I recently did a list of my favorite mods for various games. Put First Strike on there and did a little write-up, thought I'd throw up the link if anyone felt compelled to read it.

You mirror many of my own favourites there: I loved both GC and Pirates, and really wanted to get Red Orchestra.

GC was great. It's a shame more people don't play Pirates, though.

Thanks for the positive review.

Quite suprised Desert Combat wasn't in there for BF1942, that was BF2 before there was a BF2, cracking mod.

Yeah, I remember jumping on Ventrillo with friends and playing Desert Combat many a night.

Can't hold a candle to Project Reality, though. Matter of fact I didn't like it too much, too arcadeish for me.

Problem with PR is the more hardcore parts of its player base that insists on making life hell for newcomers.
