Topic: CD registration help.

Hey guys, I'm new here. Cant wait to start playing this! Looks amazing to an old X-Wing Alliance vet.

So I just got Battlefield 2142 used off my buddy, who also bought it used, now it worked for him I think but when I try to create an account it says "This CD is already registered to another account."

Is there any way around this? Can my friend de-activate his account? Or am I boned? hmm

You need to get your friend to give you his login name and password.  If he won't, then I'm afraid you'll have to buy another copy sad

Unfortunately, there is no way of "unlinking" accounts.

DUKE815: Teamwork's complicated.  I've found that ramming a Lambda with a Y-wing at full boost is most effective.
