A "just-for-fun" game mode where you can only spawn into AT-ST's and AT-PT's, and then can't exit them, sounds like fun to me. Espa may not be the best map for this, but it sounds fun as heck.

Gwyn was saying it can't be done for some reason or other.
But there's alternatives.
Simply agreeing that the rebs get the walkers that spawn on the wings and imps get the central ones. sorting out an even distribution of cp's and then duking it out on the dunes.

Actually Angel, your idea of 'DUKE DAY' is not what I would consider DUKE STYLE as it pertains to the walkers. DUKE STYLE consists of me in the walker and everyone else running around on the ground getting massacred by yours truly.

A true DUKE DAY would, yes you can probably guess it, involve everyone having JETPACKS!!!  The JETPACKS would have the flight characteristics of the 2142 Talon aircraft and built-in rocket launchers.

And Slyfox, I played on both Saturday and Sunday.

I'd like everyone to imagine for a day that, like you, they are entitled, no OBLIGED to take the walker and go to town on the enemy.

That would be awesome. Although the rocket launchers would probably need to lock on to other jetpacks as it'd be quite difficult to hit anything ever otherwise.
