Topic: Launcher error

Ok I have this problem again. Its not the first time I have had it.
Everytime I click First Strike I get that message (the picture).

I am running windows 7 x86

I have tried several fixes...

RE-installed everything as admin

Downloaded the newest version again (1.4)
Downloaded  the newest version of the launcher

unistalled, reinstalled, cleaned the registry... got very frustrated

The last time I had this problem I fixed it with a fresh OS install. Which I am not willing to do again.

So my question is does anyone now know how to fix this?

Well OH well OH wellll....... I have fixed it.

Basically I uninstalled 2142 and FS.

Went into the regedit and deleted all references to both game and mod.

Run CCleaner....

Rebooted my pc.

Activated hidden admin account.

Reinstalled using admin account.

Run all the install and patch files with XP SP2 compatability mode.

Voila! It works once again.

I have the same problem too and I tried your solution, but I still have the same error. I have Vista 32 and I installed the v1.4 full installer and the launcher installer. What can I do to fix it?
