Topic: Start Up CTD

Ok, I just installed BF2142 and downloaded first strike 1.4 and updated it. I restarted my computer but whenever I try to start First Strike, it will pop-up with the Battlefield 2142 loading window thing (like normally), go to a black screen (like it would while it loads) but then CTD! It says that firststrike.exe has stopped working!

What's wrong...? sad

Specs:

4GIG RAM
i5 processor
Nvidia GeForce 330M
(All I can name off the top of my head)

I assume 2142 was patched to 1.5 before you installed?

Also, you are starting First Strike with the new autoupdater aren't you? When you load that you should first have the autopatcher updating itself, then the updater will find and download a couple of patches.

Yes, BF2142 needs to be updated to 1.5 first.
