Topic: Ok, so I narrowed down my problems

ANd used deductive reasoning to figure out what's causing my "after loadup glitches"

1) I can play fine on any map (including space map) if I do not get onto an Yaving IV map before hand...why's that? I love the Death Star map! Why can't I get on it? It always glitches so I can't play it. Then, whenever I give up on that and try to get onto another map...the glitch that won't normally happen on another map other than Yavin IV...is on the map! It's like it spreads! So, I have deduced this: Yavin IV is bugged and glitched out that wazoo and causes problems on other maps if played

2) My server problem...how come I cannot see any server but two of them while others can see many? THis is lame! I want to play lol

I reinstalled everything! I did the following

1) Uninstalled everything
2) Reinstalled 2142
3) Updated 2142 to 1.5
4) Installed FS 1.4
5) Updated FS 1.4
6) Tried to play; everything went fine before I tried playing single player or a Yavin IV map

Server Files for v1.5 went out on 25. aug.

Yeah, Yavin always caused a whole lot of problems... Do you have Vista by any chance? Maybe you find something here: http://forums.fsmod.com/viewtopic.php?id=7520

I think we shouldn't run BoY for the time being. A lot of people crash or have glitches.

There is no singleplayer support with First Strike 1.4, so trying to play singleplayer will get you nowhere. We are aware of the problems with Battle of Yavin (an issue that seems to effect Invidia graphics card users) and are taking steps to rectify it with 1.5.

BlackIntels primary server should be running 1.4 at the moment.  I wasn't going to update it until tonight so it should be on the list.  Also, 1.5 servers should show in your list still, you'll just CTD when you hit deploy on those servers.

I checked yesterday and there were about 7 servers running (including the three testing servers).

DUKE815: Teamwork's complicated.  I've found that ramming a Lambda with a Y-wing at full boost is most effective.
