Topic: Space Explosion Debris

Ok, as some of you may know, I would question this in-game. Yet, I have yet to get an answer. I have noticed that Yavin is the only space map that features star fighter explosion debris when you destroy a star fighter. In other maps, IE: Pamal, the explosions are fireballs. Not that it isn't good enough; I think they look fantastic! I just personally love seeing carnage and chaos! lol

Is it just me or is it a glitch or is it just not added?

I believe all space maps have explosions only, while all atmospheric maps have a debris effect. I seem to recall this is because space has no gravity to pull the debris away from you, so you'd constantly be flying into the wrecks of fighters after killing them, which I suppose would feel silly even if they did no damage.

I'd think it'd be sweet to see the carnage. There is debris with freighters and flagships explode, and, please, do tell me, does it not add to the satisfation? It sure the heck does lol!

It would be nice to have debris and when the fighter explodes the carnage will float away a bit from the power of the explosion and it is realistic and I think people will be smart enough to dodge debris.

that would be cool. Though IIRC we can't use gore ingame, so no dismembered flightsuits tongue

awwww but still you dont need to show its face but make one big ball then a smaller one and 4 small legs and hands
