Topic: Flying with a joystick

I finally hooked up my joystick to see how flying with one feels.  I have concluded that it is much easier to fly with a keyboard and mouse in First Strike.  Does anyone actually fly with a joystick normally?

I fly and fight on the ground with a Saitek P880 gamepad.

I much prefer a Joystick to Mouse/Keyboard when flying.

I prefer using a joystick, although flying with the mouse works quite well.

What he said. The only issue I have is that flying with a joystick makes landing a bit tricky, what with our fancy VTOL capabilities, but aside from that everything's solid. tongue

Hmmm? Landing is fairy easy wink If you've ever watched the First Strike Jundland video, you may have noticed a lambda do a fast combat landing on the sandcrawler. All done by joystick I promise, for I was that pilot.
