Topic: firststrike crashes to desktop after load?

i noticed that when i tried reinstalling it it couldent undo vehicles quote (it may be corrupt) this leads me to think that the file changed itself after i tried playing brandomeer on singleplayer and i managed to eget into parmel without crashing but whenever i treid to spawn in and A wing or tie defender it would crash....i tried reinstalling it 3 times from 2 different 1.5 fs dealers one recomended was good by je-twigs and i also noticed that the monitor looking thing next to the stormtrooper icon on the laft of the server name is red not green

Erm...are you posting a problem or not? The monitors also show red for me on the server screen. Still not quite sure if you are saying you are getting a ctd or if you have fixed it by using the link I reccomended.

go to your bf2142InstallDirectory/mods/ folder and delete the 2 most recent "fsbuild_xxxx.zips".  Then reinstall.

DUKE815: Teamwork's complicated.  I've found that ramming a Lambda with a Y-wing at full boost is most effective.

i cant find bf2142InstallDirectory/mods where did ea hide it this time um wait there is a folder but it only says mods and fsbuild.zip isent there no zip files just 1001 1002 - 1013 so i should delete 1012 and 1013 i guess hmm

You're not in the correct folder.  Default folder for people using 32bit Operating systems is this:

C:\Program Files)\Electronic Arts\Battlefield 2142\mods

only listed names on that are bf2142 and extreme realism mod so i guess i can delete first strike and re download evrything? make it easyer
