Topic: Real Star Wars music! :D

Can you FSdevs please put real star wars music while maps are loading? Battle of Yavin seems to be the only one. It would be very awesome if you would (I don't know if there are any issues with copy-rights).

First Strike has completely original music.  You need a license to use official star wars music.   Personally, I believe the music that First Strike has is top notch.  Endors loading song is amazing.

DUKE815: Teamwork's complicated.  I've found that ramming a Lambda with a Y-wing at full boost is most effective.

I like the music a bit too but it doesn't really have the star wars experience. Is it possible to make your own versions of real star wars music? Like for Battle over Yavin it was the same music but it was in different tune, and that one was cooler than the original music.

They are FS's own interpretation of Star Wars music.  They are mostly based off of pieces of the original score.

I love the FS music. It's very starwarsy, beacuse it incorporates familiar starwars musical thematic elements to tell a story. The rebel fanfare horns, the urgent strings, the imperial bombast are all there.
But still the pieces manage to be more than a mishmash and are their own beast.

My only sad is that there isnt a unique score for each map, and there isnt cantina music in the cantina.

You and me both, we're working on getting some more unique music to go into the mod, perhaps not enough for a unique peice for each map, but there are some specific maps that are currently out which are having work done by the dev who created a lot of the music currently in the mod, as well as some work being done on music for a future map, so watch, or rather listen to this space.
