its not that my game isnt working.
its just that i downloaded the BF2142 v1.51 beta and FS does not work with it.

Incorrect. Fs DOES work with 1.5. I knowz how to make it does it. HOWEVER, since servers still use the public 1.5 and not the BETA 1.51, you still wouldn't be able to join a server.

Simply rename your 2142 1.51 to 2142B (for beta, get it?) and then reinstall 2142 and 1.5 then FS.

I was thinking of doing a live broadcast but showing more than one player (believe me you don't want to watch me stumbling around a map for an entire round)  Any of you FS Giants want to be a star? tongue 

Regardless, bugs and bandwidth permitting, I'm hoping to broadcast something during the event for those who'd like to see.

There is a free program on their site called Livestream Procaster which I installed in order to stream.  It is good because you can tweak the settings to suit your connection.  I would be curious to know whether it will work with xfire tho. (They do the streaming service for xfire I think.) Still investigating.

Yes, the whole idea was to have more than one point of view. I don't know how connection speed will play into the equation but I would like to test this out.   I will make a thread specific to this and post what I learn. If anyone wants to try this with me I'd be grateful for the help.

I have messed with it before. The quality was pretty bad if you don't have a good connection, but it is really easy to get multiple people on one group and have to maker switch through the different cameras.
