Topic: Rhen Var Temple

This is my first map, so I could need some tips. The map is not finish, but here are the first pictures:

Despite what I said earlier, it looks like it could be promising - certainly not as bad as I thought.  Nice.

DUKE815: Teamwork's complicated.  I've found that ramming a Lambda with a Y-wing at full boost is most effective.

I know that you have said, that I should make a map from an planet, that havn't made before. But for an new planet I need new Objects. Not so bad as you thought? So is it now ... or good eneught. This map isn't finished now, so don't wory, there will be more details.

Looks really interesting so far.
If i could offer some early advice (take it or leave it) I'd say retexture the ryloth statics so they are a dark black or marbleish stone or even a blue/dark steel with snow and frost. The rusty white abstract paneling never did it for me and it really wont 'pop' visually on the snow.
The rhenvar statics really contrast with the snow to make the rhenvar maps really visually appealing and some of the more attractive maps we have.

The challenge with such exciting infantry terrain (walls, barricades, pillars, steps ) is to make sure it is useful to use and interact with on a snow map that tends to lend itself towards vehicle combat ...Rhen Var Ice plains, I'm looking at you. The last portion of the map suddenly switches from a tank battle to infantry v armour and/or infantry v infantry.

Try play some Ice plains as you work on the map and hopefully you'll see how players use the terrain.
