Topic: Join Planning for future First Strike Campaign

Nations in Conflict is opening general planning for a campaign.  This will be on our own server to be created soon, and the Dev team can be added as admins if they wish.

Signup for officer positions are on our forums under the forum entitled "First Strike Campaign 1 Planning" All our procedures on scoring and rules are there as well. You must register on the website in order to view or post in the forum.

We have currently have  11 openings for officers. 

As an officer you will:

1. Be able to lead or substitute lead anywhere from half a dozen to several dozen dedicated players from all over the world.

2 .Be  Develop cunning strategies to combat with your counterpart's strategy.

3. Employ tactics with the goal of success.

4. Be able to develop propaganda to rally your troops.

Simply register with the site and post in the designated topic under the "First Strike Campaign Planning" forum.

Also, if anyone wishes volunteer in assisting with producing rank graphics, simply pm me or the community owner, Mikebeehan.

The campaigns will take place on Saturdays as that seems to be the best time for First Strike players.

You guys should really all head over to their forums (Have already been over there myself to make a few suggestions) and check out what they've done already, just rules and regulations so far, but get in there now and see what they've done and contribute and influence the way they run the event (And no, that doesn't mean asking for jetpacks for every class on every map DUKE roll tongue ), after all this could become your event if it takes off and gets a lot of people playing the mod regularly, which is obviously exactly what we all want.

Show your support guys and lets help get this thing up and running, campaign events can really add a cool and immersive extra dimension to this sort of game. Lets get some cracking huge galaxy spanning wars going.

Should promote this over in our area over at ModDB as well, just put a post in there about it with a link. When it gets a little further along might put up a news post to help drum up some more players.

I just had it pointed out to me when discussing this event with my fellow BlackIntel members, that few people actually know about the fact a campaign is going to be happening.  This post lost attention fast, there really needs to be a news article or something to let people know of the event.

I'm done throwing men at officer positions for now smile

ATM the rebels have enough men to field 2 full squads or the guts of 3 if need be. Want to make sure theres a solid core of regulars in each rebel squad, not just an inspired officer leading 2 guys he's never said boo to.

Current squad leaders are Slyfox Elite, Jackroy and Zangozett.
Currently committed to play from RSF is:

    * Hellfire
    * Zangozett
    * Jedifire
    * Xandman/Ajkap
    * Jackroy
    * Ikeeledu
Mrrshal and Duke(!) are also in, and Slyfox.

Gurd is trying to beat his FS into shape, should be joining us. Possibly Iceconie too.

11 players ready to register, 2 more in the wings and as many players as will fight for freedom and justice in the galaxy are welcome.
