Re: Community Game Nights 2011

There seemed to be a lot of friction between certain people last night and it is unnecessary, can't we all just learn to get along? It is quite frustrating, I think people need to just chill out seriously. If you can't have friendly banter without it escalating into a flame war then just don't talk to that person. Not like you're living together or anything. Just ignore them.

Also Nooby I think the server automatically kicked you for excessive TKing if Mos Espa is the instance your referring to.

Re: Community Game Nights 2011

Hopefully there are lots of players tonight. Yesterday there were 12 or something, or did more come?
Of course 12 players is pretty fun squad vs. squad battle, but only in small maps.

Re: Community Game Nights 2011

I had fun the time I could play. But after such many random PB disconnects I stopped trying. I could play for 10-20 minutes at a time, then get disconnected at random points. I tried updating the bloody thing and went through the PB help thread in these forums but had no luck removing the problem.

Tonight I cant come. hmm

Re: Community Game Nights 2011

That's a shame Flippy, so I gather you did the manual PB update and all that and you still had the issue?

Was a shame we didn't have more on, but there were a lot of new faces as well as old, it was a steady stream of people coming and going at different times which meant we never really got much more than 6 a side over the course of the night which is a little disappointing. Regarding map sizes there were some larger maps on last night as we were expected higher numbers, though that said, that is kind of where a map like Jundland Wastes shines, even with small numbers you can play that map quite effectively even on the 64 player thanks to the way it focuses the action in a combination of tight areas and wide expanses. I think we may have had as little as 4 a side when we played that towards the end of the night and it was tons of fun.

Hopefully get higher numbers on tonight.

The awkward moment when the repair droid at Tosche is gone and you fly your flaming 4% sentinel away, evading MLC fire and set it down over the mountains for repairs, only to discover that you are carrying heavy weapons, not support....
