I could tell you, but then people might figure out how to counter it. For now, its my favourite attack move, since it tends to annoy the guys flying the ship. A couple of times I've seen the pilot rant over chat to "get that fighter off the side!".

Yeah Taloraan was fun. Sure TB's aren't as hot as some of the other ships, but they have their uses. If I was to tweak them in any way I'd want to see their laser damage upped a little more.

One of the factors helping us last night was, I believe, that we tended to attack the same target more, rather than just one or two ship's making attack runs.

Again some good games tonight, though the server seemed a little unstable giving us a few crashes, but people stuck with it and hung around to get back into the game. Had a fairly consistant 6 to 8 players that came and went as the night progressed, not bad for a Monday night, but lets try and get some more, just pop on the server and people will turn up. Give people a heads up on the forums that you're about to go on-line and that might help drum up a few more bodies to play with.

We had a full squad vs bots which was pretty good fun, and had enough players to get out a few old classics and played Ryloth and Taloraan again. Good games all, new faces and old alike, thanks for coming.

Aye, the Battle of Yavin is one of our best maps for nailing the feel of the sequence from the movies, you'll always be quoting the dialogue like it is going out of fashion on that map.

With the Freighter on Taloraan the noise you're referring to will be the ship's shield booster, tapping the right and left mouse button will activate your ventral or dorsal deflector shield boosters which can really save your bacon when you have a cluster of enemy torpedoes heading your way.

Endor Clearing was also a lot of fun tonight, not one of my favorite maps, but against the bots tonight it was really quite a lot of fun, became less of the sniper fest that it usually becomes when played against live players, and there was some real good team work on our part, keeping the Walker in one piece against the onslaught of just about every Rebel bot on the map amongst other things. really good games.
