Topic: Reslolution problem

This is realy not a FS problem but a problem with 2142 but im only trying to get that up and running to play FS so here goes...

Im trying to run 2142 on my computer that is connected via hdmi cable to my TV. Thing is, the damn game wont run in anything but 600x800. I run windows in 1920x1080 and a few other games too. When i start 2142 and look under options i can only pick 800x600, nothing more. I have done all the commandlines in the shortcut with no results. Funny thing is, if i put 1920x1080 in the shortcut the games starts with  a small mousepointer. But thats it!

Anyone?

No idea, other than the command shortcuts. You sure your card is capable of outputting in that res? Also, have you updated 2142 to the latest patch?

Im running my desktop and i even got star wars galaxies running in 1920x1080 so i think the card can take it. i'm guessing it has something to do with me using a tv and not a screen.

Also im running win 7 64 bit so that might cause some pain too...

Shouldn't do. Mind you, I dont play BF2142 so cant tell you much about it. If you have installed First Strike you can force a higher resolution through its custom launcher.

Otherwise, just make sure you have done everything correctly as shown in this wiki link:
