There was  post for a star wars battlefield type game and several people mention FS in the topic including me, it may be good for publicity if everyone upvotes the fs posts!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I suppose we now have to spam on this site a lot now. wink

The more people who play the mod talk about it, the more new people will check it out, the more veterans will come back, the more days people will play FS, etc. Get what I mean? As soon as you guys have time, go on the page, make a new one maybe, and just spew a bunch of information, including the bf2142 1.51 patch!

Don't you dare start spamming Reddit for this.  The Reddit community tends to get more resistant to ideas the more people try to ram them down their throats.   First Strike has been brought up quite a large number of times in Reddits Battlefield, Star Wars games/mods and battlefront threads.  Unfortunately, the majority of the times FS gets brouhgt up in such threads, most of the replies are stories of how either A: The game is dead (can't argue with that, tbh sad ), or B: it doesn't work as easily as it should.  This is the most positive feedback for FS I've ever read on these threads, I'd leave it how it is.

There are ways to gauge reddits interest, spamming as much information to get people to visit the mod is not how to do it.

DUKE815: Teamwork's complicated.  I've found that ramming a Lambda with a Y-wing at full boost is most effective.

Although from what the Internet has to say, it doesn't seem very populated anymore. Which is a shame. I'd have grabbed 2142 on the next EA sale if that were the case.

Downloaded it, played it. Sadly, not worth it. Community is severely lacking, sort of difficult to install if I remember correctly, had to troubleshoot through some bugs.
Fun? Yes. Worth the trouble? No.
