Topic: Start-up crash

I've looked through the forums and tried all of the posted solutions. I'm running 64bit Vista, tried running as a admin, I've tried +widescreen 1, tried putting in my resolution, deleted my Battlefield 2142 documents folder, renamed BF2142.exe to FirstStrike.exe and replaced, and it still crashes on launch. Help?

No, I was more like 1.5, First Strike, 1.51

Try what funky said. You've already done the 2142 updates, just uninstall FirstStrike, including the launcher, then reinstall it.

The report back with what exactly you have done!

I did just that, uninstalled, and reinstalled. And low and behold, it works! big_smile I have a couple other issues until it's working perfectly, but I'll put those in another post. Thanks guys! big_smile
