The hills are not narrow on the left side there is a rise in elevation left of the hills and the same thing on the right but on the right. As to one of your other questions this is the first imperial attack

The map runs and it works pretty good except for the dish which a in the berried in the ground but otherwise it works good

To be honest, the ground looks a bit odd. If you can, try using a snow texture on it instead of plain white colors.

I don't know why it's like that. I used the detail texture for snow.

I know that's been a while, I'm working on the map again but am kind of stuck with some things like lightmapping and some other things. Here's the mini-map that I have right now, not quite sure why none of the objects show up.

I'm not sure how to do the lightmapping and i'm not sure my computer can even do it. Also I can't see some objects in the editor or they are only there when I look at them from certain angles, I can't see the Lambda and in other maps in the editor I can only see the outside wall of a imperial base(like the one of endor or research) from a certain angle. I think that I also fixed the white terrain, not quite sure but I think so.

Also, I believe there is a way to generate lightmaps using photoshop. Try doing a search on BFEditor.

When I try the way in the tutorial the editor crash's also I searched the BF2 editor forums and didn't find any thing about light mapping with Photoshop.
