Heh, wouldn't surprise me with their past form for releasing new patches just as we're about to release an update, but I've not heard anything new regarding a Steam release of BF2142, other than the fact that EA and Valve are trying to kiss and make up, which could lead once more towards the release of EA games over Steam again, but as far as I know, nothing official has actually happened yet.
