Something really simple to do is a tree campaign.
The outcome of the first battle determines the next battle fought and so on, in a logical manner pre determined by the narrator.

As in this example, the branches can reconnect and loop back etc.
In Fs, A failed rebel attack on Endor could put them on the defensive as their remianing bases are hunted down by the Empire (jundland, ryloth, mosespa)
A victory might see the rebels consolidate their win in the Imperial confusion by overrunning an imperial installation (Rhenvar Iceplains/ research)
In addition, you might impose restrictions on either side for losing.
A successful blockade over Hoth might mean the Rebs dont get to use their freerunner on jundland... but this is best done sparingly so as to keep balance.
A different approach would be to change the next to an Infantry map rather than a vehicle map as the rebs sneak their men through.
It'd just take a little creativity to work all the maps into a continuous narrative, putting aside the real backstory of the map for a moment and focusing on the style of gameplay and possible alternative backstories.
