Topic: Campaign Feedback

So now the dust has settled over the first Rebel Defiance Campaign event, with the Rebels (appropriately enough) coming out the other end victorious, what are your thoughts on the event? We ran it a slightly different way to the campaign events we've had in the past, so we'd consider your feedback valuable. What worked? What didn't? Give us your opinions, and ideas on how we could make the event better/attract new people etc. Or just give us a pat on the back if you thought it was just perfect as it was. It's all useful information that might get acted upon next time we run the event.

And thanks to everyone who participated and helped to make it a fun time for all.

Re: Campaign Feedback

The only thing that I didn't really like was not really anyone’s fault. For almost all of the campaign no rebels read the forums, but I don't think there is any way to change that. I also liked the point deduction for not being signed up even though some people didn't sign up after the first game they played.

Re: Campaign Feedback

Nobody else have any feedback for the recent campaign?

Re: Campaign Feedback

I had a blast!  I thought it was well organized and I liked the fact that it was open to anyone who wanted to log on and play.  I think we saw quite a few new faces because of that.

It also helped that you gave those with a high ping a break.  Those of us across the pond appreciated that.

We had some maps that I hadn't played in ages.  I forgot how much fun they were.

It was also interesting seeing the rounds I missed available via Battle Recorder.
( I actually found myself rooting for the Rebel Shuttle crew when they escaped across the map with the Imp cruisers in hot pursuit in Round 5 - Taloraan. )

A minor, minor negative was that because the sides were constant, I had to forgo my preferred team on certain maps.  But that's just the way it goes.

Lots of fun.  I hope we take the battle to Hoth's surface next time.
