This is sort of an announcement for people who might not be aware of the current situation regarding BF2142 and First Strike. Note that I am in no way affiliated with the developers of first strike or Revive. I simply want to let people know a little bit about what's going on.

As I am sure most people know by now, an amazing group of people have released a fully working version of BF2142 titled  BF2142 Revive Project.

If you haven't tried it yet, make sure you do so. It allows you to play 2142 multiplayer with servers that, so far, have been very populated. It also allows you to rise through the ranks and acquire the unlocks just like the base game, and best of all It's completely free. So if you know anyone who might be even remotely interested in 2142 (or First Strike) please tell them about this so that we can continue to get well populated servers and perhaps get a good turnout for First Strike events. Speaking of which...

Some of the people from revive have contacted Dnamro about hosting First Strike through revive. In this thread: https://bl2142.co/post.php?id=18424&page=1 Dnamro responded saying he would love to run first strike events through it. He even talks about how he might even try to update FS further if it is successful on revive. Of course, revive just recently started up so the focus is making sure that everything runs smoothly in the base game, but once any  issues are sorted out, it is looking very likely that FS events could be hosted if there is enough support.

So basically, head over to https://bl2142.co/ download 2142 revive and show your support for FS events in the fourms. Also make sure you tell everyone you can about this so that we might be able to get full 64 player action in first Strike once again. We have another chance to relive the glory that was First Strike, let's make it happen!
