I hope it is possible its just sometimes i jump on tanks for a free fun ride and it kills me when they move so i have no idea i hope it can be done tho i really do

well this is an engine problem, DICE confirmed this, they already tweaked it abit in a patch

cause i know that some mods for bf42 uses the small boats code for larger things. like battle cruizers or here stardestroyers /example

yeah, but in bf1942 it was possible to control a ship and walking on the ship while it moved

Yes and in BF2 you cant even stand on a tk or else you die when it moves. Although i think they fixed that.

maybe i am confused but couldnt you just move the code that is used for the BF-2 dingys and say stick it in the aircraft carrier and have a moving ship.

or am i missing something really big.

yes. But why not just go into the coding and disable that if they didn't? I know there's a way...I'll go to the DCon (desert conflict) mod team and ask them if it's possible.
