Wow, people keep suggesting to make droids engineers.. I supouse it will stop eventually once there are enough request for it spread about the forums for everyone to see and not post again.

a droid shouldnt be a calsss, atleast not the r2 class.
but maybe the assasin from The old republic games, that can move and act like any normal human, but then maybe as the special forces class

These "gonk" droids are "walking batteries"....  I supouse they would make good engineers, but powering something up is different than fixing it. If you have a smoking AT-ST that is about to explode, rejuicing its battery won't do much. hmm Not to mention they are unarmed.

I'm guessing they are going to be part of the environment, and not a playable kit... but thats just my guess... But I mean, I wouldn't mind if the mod team stepped all over lore to make cute little droids playable kits. tongue
