Why didnt they do a BattleField 1940 and then run it concurrently 1941, 42, 43, 44, 45 ?

beats me, Forgotten Hope are doing it and a fantastic job too. I tell why they didnt because in most part its down to revenue and middle management getting ideas and notions above their station.
When the new guy who came in to manage BFVietnam (name escapes me for the moment) he didnt like CTF so he decided just like that they wouldnt build it in JUST BECAUSE HE DIDNT LIKE IT.

Why spoil such a good series? eventually they're gonna make such a crappy quick game that they're gonna be forced into shutting down the BF series.  Hey, if this game looked less like Mechwarrior and came out in one or two years with amazing graphix, i'd love it.  EA don't mess up the series.

lol makes me laugh how they make it 42 at the end... just looks like a highly modded BF2.. im suprised they arnt looking into developing the engine some more and making it better. or is it EAs way to make money quick again?
