ok, this seems to happening to a good bit of ppl on other forums...... and me.  When you patch battlefield, if you have a firewall, it will say error listening to socket.  Because you changed the file, the firewall doesn't trust it.  CHeck the allow list again or boot bf2 one or more times to GRANT ACCESS when the popup comes(may not come up first time).  I've seen many cases where people reformat their hard drive. DON'T DO THAT!  Just letting everyone know, cuz it scared the hell outa me till a rebooted bf2 and the popup came.  You can type in that error and get some more feedback from other forums.
