As has been stated, as devs, what we feel is that we don't want to hype ourselves up until we have something to show for it. I feel that we do let the public see a lot of our work and think we have a really good following.
Don't worry about the mod fading away. We haven't even had one release. How many updates do you see from other big name games? Probably not once every week or 2.
Also, our updates are featured on many bf2 websites, not just TotalBF2. We have had interviews from site hosted around the world, and even a radio interview. We do have a lot of exposure and I feel the people that are really interested will come and join the forums, like yourself, and others will just wait happily until they see a release on thier favorite BF2 site.

I, personally, appreciate your concern for this mods survival but you should be at ease and know that the mod is in good and capable hands.

any good mod will get much publicitie true its fans and people will learn from it then. that the best advert there is and its fine by me.

but what i realy wanted to ask, but david stole my topics title tongue how did you get to the name First strike? if it was in a interview, please give me a link to that interview and i'll read it again
