As mean as this sounds, if you don't have the experience to create maps of high enough quality, get some practise then reapply. I'm trying to help the devs with quality control on the MOD, because honestly your map is very basic. But you are obviously willing to learn which is a very good thing, if you need any more help feel free to ask. Heres the solution too your problems:
Long Distance Textures:
To fix the long distance textures, make sure you are in texture painting mode, theres a button on the right hand panel called "set low detail texture" click on this and it will bring up a box with one Low Detail texture in it select it and click ok. Then click "generate low detail map" (the button under "set low detail texture"). SAVE
Minimaps:
1.Raise all objects to 500 - <-Do not save after doing this (unless you want all of you object 500meters above sea level
)
2.Click show minimap (this creates an image in: Battlefield2\mods\<mod name>\levels\<mapname>\editor\minimap.dds)
3.The file must be resized to 512x512 pixels and named ingameMap.dds.
4.copy the pic to Battlefield2\mods\<mod name>\levels\<mapname>\hud\ingameMap.dds
That should solve your problems
