Heya we've just opened up an IRC channel for the fans, testers and devs to hang out in.

It's on the quakenet network channel #First-Strike         

So,

1. grab an IRC client, (mIRC, chatZilla, miranda-IM, etc)
2. read up here http://www.quakenet.org
3. log on to any QUAKENET server (preferably one in your area)
4. set your nick with /nick YOURNICKHERE
5. do /j #First-Strike
6. register your account (don't have to) with '/msg q hello'

There ya go! you've now registered!

From now on

1. Log on to QUAKENET
2. do '/msg q auth' (if you've registered before)
3. /j first-strike

these last two can be done with a perform script/setting for your comfort.
