The British trained Americas Special Forces during WW2 and instilled modern day special operations tactics and protocols for them.

1942 - 1945  Operations behind enemy lines in Aqedabia, Sirte and Agheila. Normandy Invasion parachuted in behind enemy lines prior to this. Also took part in Operation Houndsmith to liberate Dijon, also in Operation Market Garden and later took part in hunting down Nazi War Criminals

1946 - 1979 Took part in the Malaysian Emergency, Korean War, Oman, Aden, Indonesia and Brunei were they saw action.

1980 - 2001 Iranian Embassy Siege - 6 terrorists killed one captured. 24 out of the 26 hostages survived.
Falklands War premptive assaults on Argentine mainland air bases, south georgia island and at Port Stanley.
1991 Gulf War hunt and destroy Scud Missile Launchers deep in Iraqi Territory.

Discovered by the Iraqis, they supposedly fought their way to the Syrian border over a distance of 120 miles, killing around 250 Iraqi soldiers along the way. Sent to Sierra Leone to eleminate insurgents "west side boys". 12 wounded "West Side Boys" all but eliminated.

2002 - 2006 Afghanistan - Ongoing.
